The ROUND+JAM glass shelf combines an 0.31 in thick glass shelf with a classic: our JAM metal shelf bracket. The glass shelf board is made of tempered glass* with high-polished edges and a clear or frosted finish. The JAM metal shelf bracket is made of sturdy die-cast zinc and comes with a powder-coated finish. The ROUND + JAM glass shelf creates additional storage space on the walls and looks great in the kitchen or bathroom. The ROUND+JAM glass shelf has a maximum load capacity of 33 lbs. Screws, wall anchors and assembly instructions for the glass shelf are included.
Tempered glass is thermally treated glass that is heated to approximately 630 °C and then rapidly cooled. This process makes it significantly stronger than conventional glass. After the treatment, further processing is no longer possible. In the event of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt fragments, reducing the risk of injury. It has been used in the automotive industry for decades and also provides reliable protection against cuts and impact injuries here.
