This traditional glass shelf board is made of 0.31 in thick tempered glass. The ROUND product line offers the right solution for almost any type of storage space. Tempered glass is thermally treated glass that is heated to approximately 630 °C and then rapidly cooled. This process makes it significantly stronger than conventional glass. After the treatment, further processing is no longer possible. In the event of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt fragments, reducing the risk of injury. It has been used in the automotive industry for decades and also provides reliable protection against cuts and impact injuries here.
